The presence of God is within you

This is what God promised us, that He will not leave us here in earth alone. It is so comforting to me, that God's word is always true, that He is always near when we needs Him.

For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him. (John 3:34)

No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us. Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit. (1 John 4:12-13)

And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; (John 14:16)

But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. (John 14:26)

But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me: (John 15:26)

Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. (John 16:7)

Now he which establisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God; Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts. (2 Corinthians 1:21-22)

God doesn't hold anything back from anyone. His arms are wide open for you. Call on His name and He will answer you. Blessings friends~

His word is a light to our path

"Oh, how I love your law!
I meditate on it all day long.
Your commands are always with me
and make me wiser than my enemies.
I have more insight than all my teachers,
for I meditate on your statutes.
I have more understanding than the elders,
    for I obey your precepts.
I have kept my feet from every evil path
so that I might obey your word.
I have not departed from your laws,
for you yourself have taught me.
How sweet are your words to my taste,
sweeter than honey to my mouth!
 I gain understanding from your precepts;
therefore I hate every wrong path."

I love reading the word of God, it brings Peace and joy to my heart. We serve an Omnipotent God!

May your heart be filled with His Peace this season! Blessings to you my friends and readers!

The goodness of God!

God’s goal for us is to make us like His Son.“For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the first-born among many brethren.”
We can be growing toward that goal daily; any choice we make that fails to contribute to that goal is going to increase our unhappiness. In other words, we do not always know what is best for us.
My children think they know what will make them happy, but since I know a little better about life, I know better what produces true happiness. So I continue to say no even if I know I am not the best mom when I said no. I always tell my kids, I love you , just trust me I am doing this for your own good.

True happiness can be found only when we get to know God and grow in the likeness of His Son. Nothing reminds us of that more dramatically or encourages us to grow in Him more effectively than pain and suffering. Without it we might drift away, live our lives apart from Him, and never know true happiness. Suffering does not cast doubt on God’s goodness; it demonstrates it.

Psalms 119:17,"It is good for me that I was afflicted,
That I may learn Thy statutes."

Blessing to you my friends!

Back to school

Looking back to the end of school, what a great Summer we had. We rested a week after school ended on June 8, 2012. Then we headed to our three week vacation by driving from Pennsylvania to South Carolina for a night. We spend a night with Jim and Ginger and drove to Ft.lauderdale, FL.

Spending a couple of nights at Miami beach, then to Marco Island. We had such an amazing time with my friend Genet and her kids. Five days later, we headed to Nickelodeon hotel and the kids enjoyed every minute swimming and playing double dare.

We went to Universal Studio and Wet n' wild in Orlando, FL. The weather was cool and the kids have amazing experience. Sure, God was on our side everywhere we go and His favor was upon us.

We finished our visit in Florida and we headed back to South Carolina. Our favorite time is enjoying moments with Jim and Ginger. As always, we had a great time cooking, eating, laughing and fishing.

Five days later, we drove to visit Pat in North Carolina. Pat is a sweet heart. I can just sit and chat all day with her. But, she planned for us to visit the butterfly farm and the state historical park. We went out to eat and we had a great fellowship with Pat and Josh.

After enjoying family visit, we had to make another stop. That is my kids favorite beach.....Virginia Beach. We stayed a few days swimming and enjoying each other's company.

On our way back, we stopped to visit with my brother Alem and his wife Askela for a night. We get to eat Ethiopian food, which we only get to eat when we go to see them. Alem is a wonderful brother, it is always nice to hangout with him.

We finally got back home July 7, 2012. What an amazing time with my kids and family!

The kids went to camp just for a week. The following week Emily went to the shore with a friend.

A week later, we got invited to a friend Lake house for three days. The kids were able to water ski, and canooing. Great swimming and laugh ending the nights watching the beautiful sunsets.

Jason was able to experience too visit Mexico by going as a mission trip for ten days.

We had kids coming and going to sleepovers. Swimming, going to library, eating out and reading and spending quiet time at home.

The last week of Summer end up taking day trips to Rohoboth beach, Hiking, and Mt. Lake Gretna with friends.

We celebrated Jacob's 10th birthday party, the boys played Soccer tournaments and Jacob team/ Gunners won the Championship. What a great way to end the Summer!

Now, here we are getting ready for tomorrow first day back school. The kids had put everything in their bag packs, ate dinner, took shower and relaxing and watching a movie Facing the Giants.

God has been so good to us. Showering us with His favor, His love and His arm of protection. We couldn't do what we do without His strength and His Peace.

Finance blessings

I wanted to write some key's about blessings:
There are two things that never seems to fail in life how we look at our daily lives.
1: Thanksgiving
2: Giving

It is good to give thanks to the Lord.
(Psalms 92:2)

The bible is a great source how we can thank our lord. Even though it didn't teach us to say thanks to others, but it certainly does not allow us to ignore the source of good we receive.

...and you shall eat and be satisfied  and bless the Lord your God. Duet, 8:10).
Don’t just feel grateful. You must bless the Lord.

Those who regularly express gratitude are happier than those who don’t.

We most on the receiving end in our relationship with God. He gives us all we have.

God created us as spiritual beings with a deep need to be givers not takers. In fact, too much receiving corrodes the soul.
Proverbs 22:9, "The generous will themselves be blessed,
for they share their food with the poor."

Proverbs 28:27, "Those who give to the poor will lack nothing,  but those who close their eyes to them receive many curses."

Luke 6:38, "Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into you. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”

I hope this blesses you. Feel free to leave a comment.

Love is beautiful!

I met Jim and Ginger fifteen years ago. They became a family to me and my children. Ginger isn't in a good shape. She has been ill for a few years. We try to visit once a year or more if we can. The best of all our vacation is spending time with families like them.
The kids always have a great time! When we see eachother, it is like we never lost any time. We cook, eat, chat and laugh. We are praying for Ginger that she will get better.
Here is Buddy. Jim and Ginger found him by their door. He is new to the family. The boys were lying down, and he walks into the room, climbs to the bed and lies down on top of Jason leg. I think he is saying, this is my room.
Sport is been a good dog and looking at Buddy embarrassed.

In His presence!

"If you want today to be a good day, you need to take charge of the way you look at it."
John C. Maxwell

I woke up this morning, the kids are still sleep. They seem in peace. They are my three angels. God has been so gracious to me! His favor is overwhelming!

The kids has been swimming all day yesterday at the beach. We were hoping just to take it easy and enjoy the day by touring the Miami beach city. It is misty(rainy), as long as it stays like this it might be better than the heat.

I went for a jog/run by the beach. It is a bit windy, perfect for a jog! I love to slow down and talk to God on a quiet morning.

Psalm 1:2, "But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night."

Matthews 6:33, "But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you."

Protecting the unborn

My kids and I went tonight to stand and pray with 40 days for life, to stop Planned Parenthood.
I wanted to share that others will wake up that Abortion is a crime.
My prayer is for any women to think before having sex with anyone, you are risking life of innocent children. And if you get pregnant, there is a lots of help, abortion is not the option. Here is the link today to see how you can help, get help, and pray.

hhttp://www.40daysforlife.com/blog/
  • 1,633 individual campaigns have taken place in 422 cities
  • More than 500,000 have joined together in an historic display of unity to pray and fast for an end to abortion
  • More than 14,000 church congregations have participated in the 40 Days for Life campaigns
  • Reports document 5,045 lives that have been spared from abortion — and those are just the ones we know about
  • 61 abortion workers have quit their jobs and walked away from the abortion industry
  • 21 abortion facilities completely shut down following local 40 Days for Life campaigns
  • Hundreds of women and men have been spared from the tragic effects of abortion, including a lifetime of regrets
  • More than 1,800 news stories have been featured in newspapers, magazines, radio shows and TV programs from coast to coast ... and overseas
  • Many people with past abortion experiences have stepped forward to begin post-abortion healing and recovery

After so many years of legalized abortion, many people of faith are experiencing a renewed sense of HOPE!

Life is a roller coaster

Where did the time go? If there is anything I need to ask God, it will be time. The days goes fast, and I don't feel like having the quality time with my kids. Life only gives you one trip, and I want to do it right. I feel like the school has them more than I do. Praying God will guide our day and draw the kids heart to Him. And to give me wisdom daily to guide them toward Him and life.
Proverbs 3: 1-2,"My son, do not forsake my law, But let your heart keep my commands; For length of days and long life and Peace they will add to you."

Thankful Thursday!

This morning, I was lying down when I started to thank you God for saving me from the car accident that happened yesterday. I was driving back home from West Chester, the traffic was just flowing busy, but slow. I got to the intersection accross from Target, and I usually slow down near traffic, because my car doesn't stop fast. As I saw the traffic light I slow down to around 30mi/hour, and the light was green and the diver in front of me decided to stop. Well, at that time, I hit the break with all the power I had and I end up hitting the car. The air bag came off and I finally looked up and here it was another car hits me from the back.
All I wanted to know was that if anyone was hurt. And when I saw the the drivers walking toward me, I was relieved! Everyone was safe! I had headache, I was shocked and my ear was ringing. The ambulance came, and I refused to go to the ER. I was the slowest and careful driver, people hate driving with me. I still got in to accident. We all need to watch other drivers. If I wasn't paying attention and I didn't slow down as I saw the traffic light, no one would have made it. I wish those couple was in the slow lane, if they wanted to slow down in the middle of the traffic. The point I wanted to make is that I was grateful that God spare my life. I have no bone broken and I am praying my ear will stop ringing.
God is great! Life is short, let us not take it for granted.

Fellowship

I saw this picture above on face book. No matter how the coffee tastes, it tastes much better when you have it with a friend. In this days, it is so important we connect one another, encourage and pray together. . I know life is busy, but we must find time to find a right fellowship with the same mind.

I tried to call friends at least once a week/ twice a month to connect and pray together. Many people face loneliness and they draw away from God. Even marriages, it is good to surround ourselves with friends and spend time building, and encouraging one another. I think the divorce rate would have decline if we spend time with like mind friends by encouraging one another. Satan will come when you are lonely and depressed.

Collosians 2:2, That their hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love, to reach all the riches of full assurance of understanding and the knowledge of God's mystery, which is Christ.

1 Thessalonians 5:11, Therefore encourage one another and build one another up,just as you doing.

Fellowship

"Two are better than one,
because they have a good return for their labor:

If either of them falls down,
one can help the other up.

But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up.

Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm.
But how can one keep warm alone?

Though one may be overpowered,  two can defend themselves. "A cord of three strands is not quickly broken."
 -Ecclesiastes 4:9-12
Surround yourselves with good friends. Be wise when you choose your friends, they might not hold your hands when you fall. Make time for friends and family.

Blessings!

It is a beautiful day for end of December. Outdoor is windy, but inside is warm. The sun is hitting the windows, it is warm and bright. I had 4 girls for sleepover, I was surprised, the girls were great!
Since there is no school this week,  my kids get to have friends over and sleepovers.
We have kids almost everyday. My boys will go to friends house and my daughter and I will spend girls time. I look forward for quality time with each one of my kids.
In this society, it is important to give them our time not the gadget they want.
It has been such a blessing week so far. May God get all the glory!!!

God is so good!!!!

I was walking and the sun was hitting my face and it felt so good, even though it was 45 degrees.  I closed my eyes, and all I said was God, you are so good, you are a good God! And the Holy spirit spoke to me, no matter how dark or cold it is, all it matter is there is  a light. It is the same thing with us, no matter what the circumstances looks dark, there is the light in us. He is the Holy Spirit. We wait for the Messiah return, but God is saying I am already here . We blame God for everything. He is not to blame, He gave us the free will. We (men kind) made the world we are today. Yes, life can be tough, and  also life can be good!
God is good all the time! Because:
God gives you Peace in the middle of the Chaos!
God gives you strength when you are weak!
God gives you joy when you go through tough times!
Live your life well!!

Blessings

Blessing is knowing your family are under one roof. It is when you wake your kids up, and they want snuggle when they come down from bed. You know you have a healthy family when your kids are jumping from the stairs.

Blessing is when you have a kitchen full of dishes, and you wonder if somehow someone will offer to clean.

Blessing is when you get the hug from your kids and they say they love you. But you know they just want something.

Find something to be happy about. I bet you, you will find one.

We have the choice to be happy or miserable! I chose to to be happy, how about you?

Blessings

Jacob came home from school very excited and he said, no home work for two days. I said why? He said,"Because, we have a field trip tomorrow." And I said, oh ok. He said,"Mom, it is a blessing! And He ran to the house and grab his book and started reading. Remember, it is raining, so he didn't ask to go out. Which is what they usually do.
Can you believe it? Should I be concerned? I guess, we all look a blessing in different way. I thought it was funny!

It is a beautiful morning!

I was surprise to see the trees are changing already, It is absolutely beautiful! We woke up this morning at 6:45AM to go to soccer game. It was so nice to wake up seeing the trees, they are becoming colorful and I enjoy driving my kids to the game. And they won three weekends. We stopped by Dunkin Donuts and came home for a little rest. I opened the door and windows, drinking my coffee and listening to my kids practicing their music instruments. What more can I ask, but to say thank you for all the blessings that the lord has gave me. Bless the lord of heaven and earth and the lord Jesus Christ!

Praying for a friend

Lately, it has been hard to sit in front of my computer and blog, because of  my friend's situation. I don't know how long she have to suffer, but I would like God to intervene on her behalf.

I know, there is not much I can do to help. But, I just want to be there for her to love her, to listen and to pray.  The system today is a mess! No body is helping!

God said, in the last days the work of the evil get worse. And He said to rejoice!  I tried to encourage my friend, but I can't say to her to rejoice.

I know I have to continue tell her, God is there, even in the dark time! He will never leave you, nor forsake you. I praying every second that God will remove evil in her life and give her PEACE!
