Do you pray for your children?

I hope you all had a great Summer! We had a very busy but amazing Summer! Our kids went back to school today.

Do you pray for your children daily? How about for the teachers, leaders and every students?

I do! I can get selfish by praying for my children only. But so many times the holy spirit brings those children to mind. I pray for the children that are facing hard time at home, with abusive family or illness or peer pressure. And for those don't know God might know Him.

For God, all the children are the same. We can label the good or the bad, the poor or the wealthy, the believers or non-believers, but God doesn't. He loves us so much all the same! He does hate our sins, but He still loves us!

If you are a followers of Jesus Christ, I want you to be an example of Jesus. Ask yourself, how would Jesus treat that person. You know He would love on them, invite them to His home, feed them and even wash their feet. Isn't Jesus character? So why are we afraid to invite those that are different from us?

A woman shared with me when I asked her why she hate Christians. She said, "Sara, those people never invited me to their home but they invite me to their church." I was sad, but I shared the story of Jesus and that is all it matters. Besides, we are still learning to grow our spiritual walk with God. We are not perfect at all, but we recognize that we are sinners and we need our Savior.

So, if your child starts school today or next week, remember to pray for the teachers, the bus monitor, and all the students.

Praying to all students of all ages for protection, may God protect their hearts and mind. May God draws them near to Himself!

Happy first day of school!!!

Spending time with our children

Hi there to all my bloggy friends, I have been busy with summer vacations and haven't been blogging. I miss blogging, but time has been flying too fast. My kids are growing too fast and I wanted to give them all my attention.

The kids have local and international mission trips, but I won't be travelling with them. We will have day trips together, but that is all the trips we have for now. As you see the pictures, especially the sunsets, I took them every night from Lake Hopatcong at New Jersey. They were taking in different day, I have labeled the date. Beautiful evenings, it just takes my breath away. We were blessed with great weather and friends.

I know blogging is business for most of us, but I feel like it is so easy to get distracted for hours. It was amazing how much free time I had without the Internet. We really had a great time travelling and spending time together.

I hope you are all having great Summer!

This picture below is taken in Virginia on the way to Carolina or to Busch Gardens.

I always love to hear your comments and thank you for visiting!

Hello Summer!

Summer is here! June is almost over, time seems to fly so fast. I will have to slow down on posting since we have a few vacation coming up. We took the picture above at Virginia Beach.

Busch Gardens, Virginia is our favorite! The kids love it. We had a good time with friends.

Powhatan Resort, Williamsburg, Virginia. Great hotel, it has kitchen, and laundry.
The resort is full of activity, such as movie nights at the pool, Racket ball, tennis court, basket ball and other things, including fishing on the lake. They have indoor and out door pool, Sauna and Jacuzzi.
We loved it!!

We will be heading to Carolina soon.
I hope you are having amazing Summer!

Love

I have to thank God several times how God blessed me with those precious boys. They give you so much love. They love their sister so much and love God!

We been discussing about baptism several months ago.
We thought they are ready for them to be baptised. Finally, we discussed with the elders of the church and study a few Scriptures. So, yesterday afternoon, I took them to give their testimony. They were nervous and laughing and couldn't even quote one verse.

When my older son was asked, what he thinks about God, He said,"God is The boss, God can do whatever he wants". I laughed and frustrated at the same time. My youngest son, was asked why is he getting baptised, he said,"To be better christian." They wrote their testimony so clear, but when the camera was on, they were nervous.

I had no words, but to say to the video guy, "Please don't put any of this testimony to the congregation to see!" They said, "No, that is so adorable, this is what we need."

These boys fight, wrestle and laugh all the time. But, if anyone tries to hurt them, they won't allow you. They protect each other very much!

"Love one another as I have loved you."

Philippians 2:4
Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.

Galatians 6:2
Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
Romans 12:10
Love one another with brotherly affection. Out do one another in showing honor.

Galatians 6:10
So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.

Perfect Memories

This month, I decided to catch up with my scrapbooking. Some of my friends prefer the digtal scrapbooking, but I still love the old fashion way. I am always behind, but when I get time I try to caught up.

This is last years Valentine feast. Our time with our kids are going to fast and I love to capture some memories and save them both at blog, CD and Scrapbook.

My daughter is thirteen and it seems like it was yesterday when I took her to Kindergarten.

Jacob's 10th birthday!

I just can't believe Jacob has only one more year in elementary school.

It was ten years ago when God blessed us with Jacob. He was the cutest baby ever!

He has grown to be a great kid! He has this big smile, he is a joy to have him.

He loves God, he has a good heart.

God has took my kids in His arms and shoulders and helping me to raise amazing kids.

They are not perfect, not even close, but they have a great heart with great compassion.

Isaiah 54: 13-15, "All your children will be taught by the Lordand great will be their peace. In righteousness you will be established: Tyranny will be far from you; you will have nothing to fear.Terror will be far removed; it will not come near you."

Thank you everyone for coming and making his day great!!!

Fishing

We are here in SC visiting family. We woke up early morning to go fishing. Beautiful morning. We stayed from 8am to 11am.
We had so much fun! the kids caught some small fishes. For me, it is all about spending time with family. Being away from TV and technology and spending time together.

This place takes your breath away! It is absolutely beautiful! Jim is good with the kids, I enjoy him when he is around. He loves to help and the kids don't even bother with me at all.

Our Guinea pig died

We had fostered two Guinea pig a month ago, my kids named them Oreo and Cookie. They fell in love, and we were planning to adopt them when Oreo got sick Monday morning, and we called Aardvark vet hospital. They were amazing, the  Dr. told us to meet her in the hospital even they were closed because of the Labor Day. We left Oreo in the hospital, and the Dr. wanted to keep him for the night. Anyway, we found out he died! And my kids was devastated and cried! I was hurt as well, but I needed to comfort them. The kids are so precious! They want know how Cookie feels being lonely.
I love the Aardvark Hospital, they have cats, dogs, Guinea pigs, and rabbits. You can adopt or foster, you can even go there just look. Just remember you end up bringing one kitten home, they are just adorable!
