The largest gummy worm

It's Sugar is a candy store, where everything is too large. We went to visit Inner Harbor for Spring break, right on the corner is this bright store, full of sugar.

My sons are so happy just to hold it. Of course,  I didn't let them buy this huge cavity, but I did let them but the regular sizes.

Paint gives home a new look

I wasn't sure how the color blue and yellow will turn out, but now I am glad I chose these two colors.

I didn't have much experience in painting, I sure enjoyed it this time.

The hardest thing in painting is moving the furnitures around. We made a hole on the wall as we trying to move these cabinet.

I feel good for acomplishing this project. Thank God for that!

Being a mother is the best and hardest job ever

When I look at my children all grown physically and beautiful brings me smile. I feel like time is flying away from my hand so fast. I wanted cherish every moment.

It used to be easy to make my son's happy when they were younger. Like taking them to the park, pool and play with them. But now, as they get older I am constantly trying to watch their face or body language. I don't want them to hide anything that is bothering them.

I am the kind of mother I don't like when the kids response nothing. What is wrong? Nothing. Our children don't need too many material gifts, what they need is our time and our attention.

With my daughter, she has so much needs and usually speaks what is in her mind. As she grows older, that is changing. How important it is to find their love language. My daughter love language is gift and time. If I buy her something and spend time with her, she translate that as love.

I lean to the holy spirit everyday, He is my helper. The best gift we can give to our children is time, time to love them, equip them with the word and promise of God.

Proverbs 22:6,"Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it."

Try to find great things about your children, because it s easy to find too many faults.

Love Love Love time with your children.

Harricane Sandy without power

I can't say that Harrican Sandy didn’t affect us, but we have turned it in to so much fun!!

Sunday and Monday while we still had electricity, we cooked and baked. We decide to eat the sea food before it got spoiled.

My daughter got creative cooking for us some Walking Taco and Chocolate pudding with pepper mint candy’s. We had friends that made our day, they joined us for lunch.

I made some hat’s. I didn’t think I can be so creative, but when you have all the time, I guess I can be:-)

The boys built fort and slept on it for the first two nights. They had so much fun playing with Lego's and gadget they haven't use for a while. We played board games and read more books and bible.

Monday at 10:30pm, we lost power. We didn’t think we were going to have the power all day anyway.
Tuesday, we had cold cereals for breakfast, then we left the house for the day. We tried a couple of restaurants and went to the mall.
We spent with friends for a few hours and back to the house after eating dinner 7:30 pm. I thank God we still have hot water. Shower and bed time under warm and cozy blanket’s.
The kids are off to school this morning and I went out to eat with friend for breakfast.
Thank you for wonderful friends willing to offer their home, meals and shower even if we don’t use it!! It was nice to see we have real friends, we know where to go if ever needed!!!
We continue to pray for people that got affected by the hurricane. We only missed power for two days, which hasn’t affected us as much. I was worried our food in our refrigerator and freezer. Freezer is still with dry ice cold like a rock. So, we are good!!!
About noon today, Wendsday, we got our power back!!! I missed my kitchen and hot coffee.

Next post will have a pattern how to make the panda and the bue hat ribbon.

Where is a good place to invest?

Have you ever waited your whole life for that moment? Have you spend your life climbing that success ladder and to find out that ladder didn't actually took you where you think it would.

Are you the one waited for so long to graduate and get that job? Or you waited for your kids to leave that you can go back to work, and then to find out that wasn't it?

You are to be a person of a purpose of God and the emptiness of life shouldn't affect you.

The reason you feel emptiness is because you been seeking your own purpose and still haven't accomplished it yet.

Yes, your purpose isn't your job, your master degree or to any other hobby you are after.

The bible said, Seek ye the kingdom of God and all things should be added to you.

You see God will use your hard work, gift and education if you put God first. Your heavenly father know what you need and He will provide all your needs. It is OK to be excellence, hard work and studying.

1 Cor 10:31:"So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God."

You are to serve the purpose of God. To Glorify Jesus Christ and advance the kingdom of God.

We will never have purpose unless God and what he want our priority and our focus on God.
Make your life count.  Just like we invest our money on stock market, gold, real estate and bonds, invest in the life of others.

You will reap harvest in the kingdom of God.

Like 10: 30-37: “A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, when he was attacked by robbers. They stripped him of his clothes, beat him and went away, leaving him half dead. A priest happened to be going down the same road, and when he saw the man, he passed by on the other side.  So too, a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side. But a Samaritan, as he traveled, came where the man was; and when he saw him, he took pity on him.  He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he put the man on his own donkey, brought him to an inn and took care of him. The next day he took out two denarii and gave them to the innkeeper. ‘Look after him,’ he said, ‘and when I return, I will reimburse you for any extra expense you may have.’
Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers?”
The expert in the law replied, “The one who had mercy on him.”
Jesus told him, “Go and do likewise.”

I don't know about you, for me when I am before God it s easy to ask for my needs to be met. I usually catch myself going over my list, then I will ask God to show me what he wants me to do.

Jes is my favorite writer. She has a gift in teaching wonderfully. She doesn't use social media, just her blog. She started blogging a year ago, but her blog focuses in glorifing God and God has blessed her. This is one of her post who do we glory. You can visit her at:

http://strangersandpilgrimsonearth.blogspot.com/2011/11/good-glory.html.

I pray this speaks to your heart and keep reminding yourself by saying,"It is not about me, it is about the purpose of God for which he's called me."

I will be glad to pray for you and I always appreciate your comments.

Universal Studio has many things to enjoy and will make you say, wow! Techonolgy have come too far. Wet n' Wild water park has easy access to everything and amazing slides. Walking all day after my kids can be very tyring, but it is worth travellng. Having to be away to spend quality time with my kids is a great blessing to me. At the end of the day, I give God all the glory for His strength, favor and protection. Truly, God has my life on the palm of His hands. Apart from God, I can do nothing.

Beautiful day!

Spring is my favorite season. I love to walk early in the morning, watching the glory of God's art. I saw different color of trees and flowers. This morning I took thirty minute walk at 7 am. I loved the fresh air after the rain cleans the dust.

I went to Waterloo Garden to buy some flowers and seeds, and came home worked in my yard. I am very tired, at the same time it very rewarding.

In life, when we worked hard, apply a wisdom of God and His commandment, we will reap what we saw. While we are waiting to see the seeds grow, we need to be patient by watering and adding some fertilizer.

So, if you have done your best and planted the right seed, just trust God. Whatever you are praying for God to answer you. You labor won't be in vain. You will be rewarded and you will reap what you saw.

God Bless and have an amazing weekend!!!!

Tear down and build it up

We woke up resting well. We don't have an early game, so I was hoping we will take it easy this morning.

After breakfast, the boys were wrestling. So, I told them go beat something else. And Jason said, what can I beat? I said, not your brother.

Here they are, they found old small chair and table. They tear it down and they are trying to built it in to a box. And I am watching them and enjoying the morning. Super Saturday!!!!

Precious moments with my kids

What is not to love about my life!

Children are a gift from God! I absolutely love my kids, and I know any mother should. I thank God for trusting me to care for them and love them.

My daughter is so gifted in so many area, and how can you tell your kids, honey this is your gift, but you are not good in this area? Would you make them figured out on their own?

She comes with pencils, notebook, and crayons. Always working on something while she is watching T.V.  Ah, as I take a breath and say "Forgive me for whining, I am so blessed to have such a blessing kids."

Love them, nourish them, protect their hearts because kids are innocent and fragile.  And pray for them always:

Everyday prayer:
"The spirit of the lord will rest on them, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of the knowledge and the fear of the lord." Isaiah 11: 2.

Back to school 2011

I just can't believe this is Jason's last year from elementary school. It seems it was yesterday when he started first grade. Jacob 4th grade. Today is first day back to school. They have been so excited, and here they are looking beautiful.  May God give them the strength and peace they need to stand firm in what they believe. May God protect their heart.
Emily is too smart! I wish you can identify one of  your many gift and run with it. you are very talented and beautiful young lady. I love you!

Children are unpredictable. You never know what inconsistency they are going to catch you in next.
