You have a purpose!

I went for my morning walk after I send my kids to school. It is a beautiful spring! As I was walking in this quite morning. I heard the quite voice of God in my heart telling me, I LOVE YOU! I think of you everyday. I knew you even before you were conceived ~ Jeremiah 1:4-5

"I am your father. In Jesus I express my love for you. His death is the ultimate expression of my love for you. He tells me nothing can separate you from me ever again." Romans 8:38-39

I am enjoying my day meditating in His love. The world wants to criticize you. The voice in your head can tell you, you not worthy. I challenge you to fight it. You are loved before you were born. There is a reason why you are here in this earth. Run the race, and make a difference. Enjoy your life as if today is your last day in this earth.

Daughters are a gift from God!

Just like we read the word of God to our daughters, we need to speak words of encouragement, and speak life in to their future.

We also need to remember to put away any foolish talk that is not edifying. Discouragement, harsh criticism, nagging, anger, etc. The Bible calls us to be sober-minded. Sober-minded moms are not intentionally tearing down their children but make every effort to build them up with love.

As a mother, sometimes I feel like I have failed , So with a new day I will start all over with the new day that God gave me. Do everything in your power to start new. Don't let regret steal another day from speaking vision and hope into your children's lives today.

Zephaniah 3:17   The lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exault over you with loud singing.

Happy Resurrection Day!

I am glad we are celebrating the Risen Christ, But I wanted to share where in the bible does the "Easter" name came from.

The term "Easter" is not a Christian name. Easter is nothing else than Astarte, one of the titles of Beltis, 'the Queen of Heaven', whose name, as pronounced by the people of Nineveh, was evidently identical with that now in common use in Australia. That name, as found by Layard on the Assyrian monuments, is Ishtar.
The worship of Bel and Astarte was introduced into Britain by the Druids, 'the priests of the groves'. Baal was worshipped, and his consort, Astarte, was also adored by our ancestors in Britain. And from Astarte, whose name in Nineveh was Ishtar, the religious solemnities of April, as now practiced, are called by the name of Easter - that month, among our Pagan ancestors, was called Easter-month.
The festival, of which we read in church history, under the name of Easter, in the third or fourth centuries, was quite a different festival from that now observed in the church, and at that time was not known as Easter. It was called Pasch, or the Passover, and though not of Apostolic institution, was very early observed by many professing Christians, in commemoration of the death and resurrection of Christ. That festival agreed originally with the time of the Jewish Passover, when Christ was crucified.
Like the original apostles of Christ, we know from the Bible there is no requirement for Christians to observe the Passover. That was fulfilled by His death, burial and resurrection when He played the part of our Kinsman Redeemer 2,000 years ago. It is over, or as He said on the Cross, 'It is FINISHED!'
I believe that all who are Jesus' disciples in this day, should take Him at His Word, remembering It was Christ the Word Who bled and died on Calvary, not the man-made creed and tradition of some Christ-denying religious system.
Jesus said, 'My Word is Spirit, It is Life'. 'And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, "How long halt ye between two opinions? if the Lord be God, follow Him: but if Baal, then follow him". And the people answered him not a word'.
That same choice is placed before you today. If Baal be god, then follow him. But if Jesus Christ be God, follow the Word.
Peter said, 'We have seen the Words of the prophets vindicated; whereunto you do well if you heed all they wrote as you'd follow a light shining in darkness, until the subject becomes visible, and Christ illumines your hearts through the new birth: Knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the private thoughts of man: but holy men of God, spoke as they were inspired, by the Holy Ghost.
But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who secretly introduce heresies and, for greed exploit you' (II Peter 1:19-2:4).
I wanted to follow all the way, I learned to stop pleasing my flesh. I pray for you, you will ask the Holy Spirit and He will reveal to you!

Passover

Imagine the scene. Knowing that He would soon suffer and die as the Passover Lamb, Jesus commanded His disciples to prepare for this special meal. Jesus wanted to eat the Passover lamb with His disciples before He became the Passover Lamb (Luke 22:15).

The Scriptures tell us that following the Passover meal they sang a hymn, and then went to the Mount of Olives, Matthew 26:30. Great Hallel has been sung by Jews down through the centuries as they have celebrated the Passover?  Psalm 118 : 22-24.
Redemption comes first, then the festival of unleavened bread follows. Redemption gives us the ability through the spirit of God to say no to sin (to live unleavened bread).
Leaven swells up, it is anonymous with pride. If we truly understand the lords passover, and receive Him in our heart.
Having  personal experience with Messiah, the fruit of it is humility.
