Back to school 2011

       I just can't believe this is Jason's last year from elementary school. It seems it was yesterday when he started first grade. Jacob 4th grade. Today is first day back to school. They have been so excited, and here they are looking beautiful.  May God give them the strength and peace they need to stand firm in what they believe. May God protect their heart.
            Emily is too smart! I wish you can identify one of  your many gift and run with it. you are very talented and beautiful young lady. I love you!

               Children are unpredictable. You never know what inconsistency they are going to catch you in next.

what do you do, when you don't see his plan

Jeremiah 29:11 said,  "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
How do you know when you don't see the end of the tunnel? Have you ever wonder the choice you are making may not be God's plan? When the holy spirit is in you, it is hard to sin, because you are convicted. Now, you have Good thing and a God thing. Was the good thing enough for God?  I am so in doubt whether to start this or that.  Tomorrow my kids starts school, and I like to sit and figure things out whether to continue to study or go to work. Ahhhhh! Dear God, please hear my prayer, I am seeking for wisdom. I really love to hear you clearly and show me the way. I am very tired, and I am heading to bed for now.

Principle of God!

This blog is to my kids, and to anyone that stumble to read it, I hope God uses my blog to touch you.
I wanted to talk about anything we put too much attention. If we are addicted and value  anything but God, whatever you are addicted to,  it will end up destroy you, if you don't destroy it first. I hear so many people saying it is just a movie or I am just looking at the pictures.  But, what they forgot is God's standard is so high, He considers hate murdered and lust adulatory.
We shouldn't play a game with God, I mean He is Omnipotent! We can't  pretend with God, He sees everything. Yes, He is a loving and forgiving father. I want you to get hold of His principles. God is able to help you with any circumstances that you are going through.  I learn many mistakes the hard way, by experience. But, you don't have to. You can hold on the holy spirit hand and let him guide you.
Trust in Him!

Wisdom

Proverbs 8:32-36
32 “Now then, my children, listen to me;
   blessed are those who keep my ways.
33 Listen to my instruction and be wise;
   do not disregard it.
34 Blessed are those who listen to me,
   watching daily at my doors,
   waiting at my doorway.
35 For those who find me find life
   and receive favor from the LORD.
36 But those who fail to find me harm themselves;
   all who hate me love death.”
I believe in dream and educating, but we fail when we pursue money instead of the expertise.
If you start any business or a  ministry to get rich without gift and calling, you will end up miserable.
Ask God for wisdom and which way you can go, and he will show you and give you wisdom.

Health

I am going to post about health from experience and finding article from the websites.  I became serious about what I eat just the past 3 years. I had no idea what MSG was and how much hormones they  feed the cows or sheep.  And also pepticides.  I really want my kids to understand at early age.
I know it is not cheap to buy Organic foods. There are some food you don't have to worry eating organic food. As a general rule, unless the produce has a thick, impermeable skin, assume it’s soaked in pesticides. Now wash it with water and mild soap before you eat it.
We drink alot of milk and use 1/4 dozen eggs daily, and it is scary when you read how much hormones the cows and chickens are fed.   David Zinczenko said: Today’s cows are routinely fed a hormone called recombinant bovine somatotropin, or rBST. Studies have linked rBST to a multitude of cancers, including those of the prostate, breast, and colon. Milk from rBST-treated cows in America.
I know we can eat oranges, grapefruits, and many has thick skin, and wash your fruit and veggies very well. But, if you can afford it support your neighborhood farm market and buy organic.
May God protect Us, as we continue to apply wisdom in to our lives.

Connect with other women

As a mother and a woman God want us to be. We  must speak in clarity that we should only take mentor from God's perspective, not what the society have to offer. We shouldn't compare ourselves with what the media expected us to be.
My heart is to encourage women to connect with other women. Encourage one another and love one another. You don't need another event to meet, call a friend for a tea. The world would like to tare us apart, but we need to support one another. If you are like me, I am hard on myself until I am around other parents. You need "ME" time, if you want be a better mom. Our kids are watching us to be a model to them. We can't be hypocrites. We have to be the same person they see at home and around others. So, how can you be a person God want you to be? If you are so busy helping everyone and not having time for yourself.  May God give you the strength and His Peace.

Moments

        Here is Jim sitting. You can't see Jim sitting and awake at the same time. He is a busy man and when you see him sitting, he is sleep. I took this picture of the sun set while I was driving from SC to VA. A bright orange with cloud around it.

He is still alive!

         We found Speedy alive four weeks later. We came back last night, as we woke up this morning we saw him against the wall. Jacob said,  "Mom he is alive!" We gave him food and put him in water right away. We were worried we will find him dead, Thank God!

       Today is our last day at the beach. The weather and the water felt perfect all week.
        I do feel horrible, the kids have so much sun burn. They love the beach, I have to drag them out after 3 to 4 hours at the beach.
         We will let them rest tomorrow stay in the room and we can go to bush garden Sunday to Wendsday.
      I give God all the glory for the fun, His favor and for the wonderful time and weather.
