For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him. (John 3:34)
No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us. Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit. (1 John 4:12-13)
And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; (John 14:16)
But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. (John 14:26)
But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me: (John 15:26)
Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. (John 16:7)
Now he which establisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God; Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts. (2 Corinthians 1:21-22)
God doesn't hold anything back from anyone. His arms are wide open for you. Call on His name and He will answer you. Blessings friends~
Hi Sara! Thank you for your encouraging and uplifting post today! I really like that quote you have to start off the post too. I have been trying to think of the Spirit just that way. So close to me. I had a spiritual person tell me that God is closer than our blood is to us. That's where I got the imagery for the Spirit dwelling within.
ReplyDeleteJesus said he would send us that Comforter. He is true to his word, so I know he is with me!
Blessings on your Wednesday :)
Ceil
Celi, it is blessings to hear many of us are saved and know His presence. We will continue to pray for the prodigal son. Hugs to you my friend!
