I was making a throw with star stitch when I decided to make a hat. This is a star stitch in between two chains. For age 10-12, thirteen rows.
If I didn't want to be fold them to warm the ears,
I would have done only 11 rows.
Here is one very simple, I started with eight HDC on the ring and increase second row two HDC in one chain. 14 row HDC, then to finish four rows of Front Post Half Double Crochet (FPHDC) and a Back Post Half Double Crochet (BPHDC).
If you are asking why I put a number 2, it is because my son plays travel soccer and his number on the team is 2. He asked me to make him a hat that will match his team color blue and white.
I am working on another hat for my oldest son in different color. What if I told you it took me less than three hours to complete this hat from start to finish. Yes, I did and I didn't follow any pattern.
With Crochet, I can come up with designs, but it might be hard to repeat. I think I am pretty sure I can repeat this pattern.
I hope you find something you love and have fun with it. So many of us want do what others are doing.
I always appreciate your comment and thank you for your visit!!
