Honor

We expect our kids to honor and respect us. Our kids can learn better by watching us honroing our parent, teachers, elders in the church and in the community.

Don't use your parent as a babysitter or Santa. Call them just to say hi when you don't need them for something. Honor them by meeting their needs and caring for them. In todays society, there is no honor for leaders and it is because what they see at home.

Let your children see you visiting nursing homes, and baking food for friends when they are sick.
We can't blame the system, honor starts at home.
Change your home, and change the world.

Deuteronomy 5:16

"Honor your father and your mother, as the LORD your God has commanded you, so that you may live long and that it may go well with you in the land the LORD your God is giving you.

  1. I believe it is so important to respect others and the children see how adults act and we must always remember they are watching us. I really like your postings Sara. They always make me think about the important things in life. God, family, friends and helping those in need.

Thanks for this blog. God bless and love you.
